What’s in a number?

10976663…this number has been with me throughout my career, in fact since before my career even began.

I’m not sure my 19 year old self, who had gone to college with no idea of what she wanted to do with her life but who, in her second year at college, studied 3 ‘personnel’ modules and realised that was it, would make of the career she went on to have. She certainly wouldn’t have seen herself, in her late 40s, starting her own business!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people and I reached the giddy heights of People Director, which I’m not sure 19 year old Tracey would have believed would happen, but my biggest achievement so far – starting Platinum Blue HR. I can’t articulate the absolute joy and fulfilment the last two years have brought.

So, that’s the first 30 years done…bring on whatever comes next, I’m ready for it!
